Welcome to Villafañe Translation Services!

Code Of Conduct

We hope you will enjoy working with our company. We will do every thing possible to make sure we work together side by side on all onsite interpreting assignments. If any problems arise please do not hesitate to call us immediately so that we may address any issues that may arise in a timely manner.

Villafañe Translation and Transportation Services strives towards a high level of customer satisfaction. Further, a satisfied customer translates into a recommendation for us.

As you work with out customers, it is necessary to maintain a professional attitude and appearance.

Our success and reputation greatly depends on you. Therefore, please follow these simple principles to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This will result in many more referrals for us and you as our most valued professional interpreter.

1. As a VTS interpreter, you are required to abide by a business casual code of dress. We summarize a business casual dress code as follows:

* For women: A reasonable length skirt (not mini-skirt) or full-length pants of a non-jeans material combined with a sleeved top (such as a dress shirt, polo, or sweater set) is considered acceptable. An informal dress with sleeves and appropriate skirt length is also acceptable.

* For men: A combination of collared shirt cotton trousers, dress belt, and dress shoes. For court assignments, please also wear a business suit with collar dress shirt and dress shoes.

* Unacceptable for either gender: sleeveless shirts, gym clothes, rumpled or ripped clothing, (micro) miniskirts, underwear as outerwear, bizarre hair color or styles, inappropriately revealing attire such as bare midriffs, flip-flops, and sneakers. Many corporations also frown upon open-toed shoes and any shorts

Please do not hesitate to give us a call if you have any questions about our dress code.

2. Please arrive 15 min prior to the appointment time. Notify the receptionist that you have arrived and that you are from Villafañe Translation and Transportation Services, and provide them the name of the client from whom you will be interpreting.

3. If for any reason you cannot arrive on time (wrong address, traffic problems, car trouble, you are lost, etc.) call our office so we can inform the facility and address the issues.

4. Call us at 866-676-9947 or 215-681-0270(24/7 service) if the patient/claimant doesn’t show up after 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time.

5. Leave your cell phone open until the commencement of the appointment in case we're trying to reach you. Please switch off your cell phone once the appointment begins.

6. Before you leaving, assist the patient/claimant with scheduling follow ups and return pick up for transportation, if transportation was provided.
